Palm Beach Swim Week, the 7th annual fashion production by Lilyana LoVela at Fusion Fashion and Art is setting the stage for a record breaking show once again.

Hosting the most coveted media reception in the Palm Beaches hundreds attend the invite only event held August 10th. The hundreds attending include the fashion designers to be featured in the shows, the Top Models of Palm Beach Swim Week, and the whole cast and crew along with the swarming media of reporters and TV. Nothing but the facts for this event will do! It is open season for reporters to get the inside scoop straight from source on everything from design, the back stories, and details that won't be found anywhere else.

August 25th through the 27th the ocean side shows are held in a downtown, all solar powered, glass pavilion. This amazing high tech building offers full views of the ocean and park area from it's 3 glass walls with doors that lead to an expansive terrace where the palm trees sway in the topical breezes. Designers will send their newest creations for the season on models that have been seen at New York Fashion Week to Milan Fashion Week and include many too to be discovered new talents.

 

Professional buyers, wholesalers, and merchandisers are strongly encouraged to attend and welcome to purchase the new lines for their stores and outlets. Discount and sale prices on trunk sales and many other unique opportunities can be found for purchase by the public with the many vendors at the shows.

While competition to be featured on the most famous runway in all Palm Beach County is fierce with hundreds of applications submitted from all over the world we have been able to confirm 3 designers who have made the cut. Perhaps with a hint of what is to come for the season 2 designers are well known artist in their own right.

Magchop Swim continues to grab magazine articles, covers, and show features. In a never seen before, true diamond from the roughest parts of Chicago, this designer has found heaven on Earth in Florida while reinventing the definition of swimwear into his own life style culture of custom cars and boating. With an already established art fan base, this designer is a sure pick for retail.

Palm Beach Art Fashion Designer Sharon Tatum has found what many are calling her true calling in addition to an already successful art business and custom silk scarves collections. The all new resort line is 100% at the heart and soul of all that is the Palm Beaches. From stunning pastel rich hues to romantic design in comfort this one-of-a-kind artist is at the top of one-of-a-kind resort wear.

 Also, celebrity swimwear designer Karo from the pages of Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition is abandoning New York Fashion Week once again in favor of Palm Beach Swim week. With all new line that is both sporty, glamorous and smart it may be the only swimsuit a woman may need but will surely want more than one.
