General Business Activities & History
Fusion Fashion & Art Productions is the result and re-branding of the freelance fashion industry networking and event group called Live Models & Photographers which started in 2010. The production company was first incorporated in 2013. The professional productions were necessitated by the success of the networking group by facilitating the improvement of skills and team building. FFAP was the next logical step in helping freelance artist gain professional experience and build their businesses. Productions of both endeavors span southeast Florida from the Palm Beaches to Villa Vizcaya in Miami.

At its very first opening in 2010 FFAW set the record with the most live open sets for any fashion show in the state of Florida. In 2011 FFAP quickly doubled that record and produced its first multiday fashion show event and competition. The first large scale community outreach production was in 2012 in Fort Lauderdale in conjunction with the Nobe Arts District. In 2013 FFAP produce a 7 day old New York style fashion week at Light Factory Studio & Gallery in West Palm Beach. In 2014 FFAP produced Fashion Week Palm Beach. In just 3 short days 18 shows were produced within that fashion week making it the largest Fashion Week in the state of Florida under 1 roof.

The show was held at the Pavilion at the Lakefront Commons in downtown West Palm Beach. Designers came from New York, Puerto Rico, Belgium, Haiti, Peru and many were southeast Florida natives and in the Palm Beaches. The name of this show has evolved to reflect the global aspects and interests of the production to Palm Beach International Fashion Week.

The inauguration of Palm Beach Swim Week was in 2015 which received rave reviews by the media and local government. The show was opened by Jeri Muoio, Mayor of West Palm Beach. Also in 2015 Lilyana Lovela, president of Fusion Fashion and Art Productions was requested by the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach Film and Television Commission to present the production history and accomplishments of her organization. Soon after the presentation FFAP received and maintains endorsements at the county level from the Palm Beach Film and Television Commission, The Palm Beach Tourism Counsel, and The Cultural Counsel of Palm Beach.

In 2016 FFAP was chosen by The Cultural Counsel of Palm Beach to represent Palm Beach fashion and produce a fashion show to be presented at the prestigious biannual Muse Awards at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.

Fusion Fashion and Art continues to be the exclusive producers of Fashion Week and Swim Week in Palm Beach County,.
